Jose Santana Martinez

Graveside services for Jose Martinez will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, OK. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 1:00pm-7:00pm with family receiving friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm at MMS-Payne Funeral Home. Jose passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the age of 65.

Jose was born on July 3, 1959, in Mission, TX to Jorge and Elida (Gonzales) Martinez. Jose loved to spend time outside working in his yard and garden. He also enjoyed detailing and cleaning his vehicles. More than anything Jose loved his family and getting to spend time with them. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. 

 Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Jorge and Elida Martinez; siblings, George Martinez, Jr., Stella Martinez, Norma Martinez, Richard Martinez, and his son Jorge Jose Martinez. 

 He is survived by his daughters, Nora Martinez of Balmorhea, TX, Rosalinda Ibarra of Claremore, OK, Jessica Garcia of Enid, OK, Maria Martinez of Frederick, OK; son, Jose Santana Martinez, Jr. of Frederick, OK; sisters, Rosalva Martinez of Mission, TX, Mary Martin of Claremore, OK, Alma Rhodes of Claremore, OK, Susie Rains of Owasso, OK, Diane Duckworth of Claremore, OK; grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez, Krystal Martinez, and Miguel Martinez of Hobbs, NM and Arianna Martinez of Balmorhea, TX, Cielo Ibarra, Yasmine Ibarra, Jimmy Ibarra, and Xavier Ibarra of Claremore, OK, Andrew Garcia, Alyssa Garcia of Enid, OK, Jacinto Martinez, Jorge Martinez II, Violeta Marinez, Milena Martinez, Makyha Martinez, and Carlitos Grimes of Frederick, OK; great-grandchildren, Jose Angel Jimenez, Yazmine Elida, and Arah Isabel Ibarra.
