Graveside service for Josh West will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Paradise Vista Cemetery in Newalla, Oklahoma.
Joshua Landon West passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the age of 34.
The son of Anthony and Rebecca Thomason West was born October 19, 1977 in Tulsa. He was raised in rural Chelsea. While attending Chelsea school Josh was very active in sports, especially baseball. He was a member of the graduating class of 1996. After graduation Josh joined the United States Navy. He served 4 years until being discharged. Upon his return home he moved to Pryor where he began working at the industrial park. In his spare time Josh enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends, and playing music, but most of all he loved being with his children.
Survivors include his children, Teagen Joshlyn West, and Anthony West; parents, Tony West and wife Janet of Chelsea, Becki West of Tulsa; siblings, Monica Phibbs and husband Patrick of Tulsa, Amie West of Oklahoma City, and Jared West and wife Amanda of Kingsland, Georgia; maternal grandmother, Naomi Thomason and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
