Joyce Elaine Lewis

Joyce Elaine (Stake) Lewis passed away on October 30, 2022.  She was 84 years old. Joyce was born in Mansfield, Ohio and grew up and graduated high school in Jeromesville, Ohio. She married her high school sweetheart, Malcolm Lewis, and the couple moved to Los Angeles, California to create a life together. They lived there until 1992 when they retired to Afton, Oklahoma. Joyce owned an accounting office and enjoyed raising her kids and spending time with her family. Some of the hobbies she enjoyed were singing, music, and theater. Joyce also loved contributing her time to youth football when her son David played and for several years after. She was very strong in her Christian faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Lewis; her parents, James and Faye Stake; and one brother, James (Jimmy) Stake.
Joyce is survived by her children, David and his wife Elizabeth; daughters Kim, Barbara, and Sheron; sisters Mary Strine and Beth Wood; grandchildren Sophia Angel and her husband Cody, Anton Hernandez and his wife Paola, and Alex Lewis. Great grandchildren, Lucas Angel, Hudson Angel, Riddick Hernandez, Ragnar Hernandez, Ronin Hernandez.
