Judith passed away August 10, 2017 at the age of 74.

The daughter of Charles and Lucy Retherford Grubbs was born September 30, 1942 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. She lived there until around the age of 12, when she and her family moved to Claremore. Judy began attending Claremore Schools, graduating as a member of the class of 1959.

From a young age Judy displayed many nurturing characteristics. She always considered herself as a homemaker to her siblings. Even as she became older it wasn't uncommon for her to take her younger sisters on her dates.

In 1978 Judy met Leroy Woods. They would marry on March 23, 1979. Together they made their home in Claremore, where she concentrated on taking care of her family.

Judy worked for Claremore Progress for some time and later was owner operator of The Print Shop in Claremore. She also did private printing for a select clientele. In her spare time she loved making stained glass, glass etching and porcelain dolls. She was an unbelievable cook, often making full course meals when her family only needed a snack. Together with Leroy she enjoyed motorcycle riding and antiquing. However her true passion was spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shelly Law and sister, Mickey Brassfield.

Survivors include her husband Leroy of the home; sons, Kevin Law; step-children, Russell Woods and wife Suzie, Keith Woods and wife Sharry, Glenn Woods and wife Valerie and Shery Woods-Nalsen and husband Thor; siblings, Chuck Grubbs, Kenny Grubbs and wife Peggy Smith and Linda Leonard and husband Johnny; 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family.

In honor of the wonderful service that Judith received, memorials may be made to the Porta Caeli House at P.O. Box 580460 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74158-0460
