Memorial services for Karen Denise Crager 52, of Claremore will be held 2PM Monday May 24, 2010 at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel.

Karen died Thursday May 20, 2010 in Claremore.

Karen was born December 14, 1957 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Glenn and Carla (Linton) Carpenter. She grew up and attended schools in Ft. Wayne, IN. Karen was married to Gregory Crager on May 15, 1976. The couple lived in Garret, IN until moving to Claremore in 1981. Karen worked as a paper carrier at the Claremore Daily Progress for 13 years. She was a member of TOPS and she enjoyed being active in the Route 66 Cruisers. Karen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was known as everyone's best friend.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Karen is survived by her husband Gegory of the home; son Brad Lee Crager and wife Amanda of Corpus Christi, TX ; daughter Amanda Crager of Claremore; mother Carla Carpenter of Claremore; 4 grandchildren Drake Graham, Blake Walker, Bethany Crager and Audrey Crager; sister Kristy McCormick of Owasso; brothers David Carpenter and wife Diana of Foyil and Kenneth Carpenter of Ft. Wayne, IN. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Wild Heart Ranch 10491 S. 4190 Rd Claremore, OK 74017.
