Kaycie Morea Maggard

Funeral service for Kaycie Morea Maggard will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Dawes Cemetery.

Kaycie Morea Maggard passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the age of 33.

The daughter Michael and Rhonda (Duncan) Maggard was born September 26th, 1989 in Claremore.  She would live her entire life in the Claremore area.  As she became older she would become a part of  Project CEEP, and attend Claremore schools. 

Kaycie was a joyful child with a wonderful smile.  She brightened up the room whenever she walked in.  She did however have a little bit of an ornery side.  She loved poking Shannon as she walked by, and pulled her hair every chance she could.  

Kaycie had many hobbies and past times she enjoyed.  She loved watching black and white movies with her family and Oklahoma football.  She also loved playing with her many stuffed animals, Mickey Mouse being her favorite.  However it was the long walks and truck rides with her family that she loved the most. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Lucy Duncan, and Bill and Lon and Mary Ann Maggard and one brother Matthew Dean Maggard.

Survivors include her parents, Mike and Rhonda Maggard; sister, Shannon Schuler and husband Jason; nieces, Jesi Rodriguez and husband Anthony, Haylee Schuler, and Brooklyn Maggard; nephews, Braxton and Xander Maggard along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
