Service for Kayla Jewell "Kay" Roberts will be 11:00a.m., Friday, June 2, 2017 at Cedar Crest Baptist Church, Locust Grove; burial will follow at West Liberty Cemetery in Quinton. Kay passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at her home with family by her side. She was 55.
Born January 25, 1962 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Roy Keith and Beatrice Jane (Lingo) Hudson, Kay received her education in Tulsa. Following her schooling she began working at different jobs, one being a grocery store. Kay's ultimate job was taking care of her beloved family. She and Royce "Mac" Roberts married on October 6, 1983.
Kay's hobbies included anything creative and collecting jewelry. She loved her church and was there each time the doors were open. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A loving wife, mother grandmother, sister and friend, Kay will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members that survive include her husband Mac Roberts of their home in Inola; her children Christi Rogers, Amy Courtney both of Kansas, Oklahoma, Amanda Powell of Chouteau, Marcus Roberts of Inola and Royce Mac Roberts, Jr of Glenpool; her siblings Cheryl Washington of Cleveland, Darla Bever of Tulsa and Keith Hudson of Locust Grove; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many other extended family members.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Keith and Beatrice Hudson and her son Justin Sappington.
