Service for Kellye C. (Quinton) Prout will be 1pm, Monday, January 9, 2017 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, January 8 from 12pm--2pm. Kellye passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore. She was 49.
Born at the old Franklin Hospital, in Claremore, on August 29, 1967 to George and Joye (Duvall) Quinton, Kellye was reared and educated in her birth community and graduated Sequoyah High School. She worked at the Claremore Veterans Center as a CNA for several years until her injury at work.
Family that survive include her son Jesse Bauders; her mother Joye Helt; brother Michael Quinton; sister Sherry Berndt and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father George.
