Kenneth Eugene Beeker

Kenneth Eugene Beeker passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 7, 2011, at the age of 80.

Kenneth was born on May 29, 1931, in Odon, IN, to Ora and Rita (Ainscough) Beeker. Kenneth, the oldest of eight children, grew up on his parents' Circle B farm in Washington, IN. He graduated from Washington High School in 1949.

Kenneth married the love of his life, Deloris Lamb, on August 22, 1952.

Kenneth's vocations included horse jockey, railroad car foreman, butcher, and a commercial cleaning business.

Kenneth was a collector of train and John Deere memorabilia.

He was baptized on March 11, 1959, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He served in various leadership positions at the Southwest Congregation in Evansville, IN, the Prescott Valley Congregation in Prescott Valley, AZ, and the Claremore Congregation in Claremore, OK. Kenneth's service to Jehovah spanned 52 years.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Rita Beeker; a brother, Marlin; and his son, Kenneth E. Beeker, Jr.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 59 years, Deloris; his daughter, Sharon (Beeker) Clark-Leer and husband, Homer Leer, Jr.; grandchildren: Jon Clark, Sonja (Clark) Williams, and Brett Clark; brothers: Melvin, Harry, Ray, and Darrel; sisters: Frances Allen and Sandra Sowl; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory in Claremore, OK.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Claremore, OK. Brother Perry Geyer will officiate the service.
