Memorial service for Kenneth Allen Roberson will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Inola Funeral Home Chapel. Kenneth passed away on Thursday, February, 13, 2014 at the age of 60.
Born July 20, 1953 in San Angelo, Texas to Gerald Leon and Mary Elizabeth (Shumake) Roberson, Kenneth was reared and educated in Texas. At the age of 22 he moved to New Mexico. There he began working with Public Service Company of New Mexico, and later moved to Arizona and worked at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant. Kenneth was blessed with a brilliant mind and never quite learning. Throught his life he also worked as a nurse and teacher. He moved to Inola around the year 2000 to be his mother and sister. His hobbies included going to the lake, watching movies, reading and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mary Roberson and brother Jimmy Cox.
Family members that survive include daughters Kendra Lawson of Allen, Texas and Cassie Roberson of Glendale, Arizona; his brother Benjamin Leon Roberson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his sister Cindy Merryman and husband Denny of Inola; his niece and nephews Denna Merryman, Nick Merryman and Jessie Merryman; his great nieces Jessica and Madison Merryman.
