Graveside service for lifetime Chelsea resident George Kenneth "Kenny" West will be 11 a.m., Fri., March 9, at the Chelsea Cemetery with Rev. Richard Billings officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory.
Kenny died Mon., March 5, 2012, in Owasso at the age of 86.
The son of Henry and Minnie (Thomas) West was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Catale. On October 9, 1944, he married Polly Fox in Chelsea. His hobbies included music and woodworking. Kenny was a member of the Vinita Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Polly; his parents; and brothers: Buddy and Charles West.
Kenny is survived by his sons: Paul "Gabby" West of Oklahoma City, and Kenneth "Gus" West of Owasso; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
