Kerri Dawn Shook passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and friends on November 22nd, 2020. She was 48 years old. Kerri was born to Mark and Debra Hawkins on December 24,1971 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Kerri has been a long time Rogers county resident. She attended Catoosa Schools and graduated in 1990.
She soaked in every little bit life had to offer. Kerri was able to be a stay at home mom with her daughter Erika for several years, and then worked at Hard Rock Casino for almost 10 years. Kerri enjoyed going to concerts to see her favorite artists, especially The Foo Fighters. She cherished many memories at various beaches in Florida. She was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and OKC Thunder fan; she loved to watch them play. Kerri actively supported her daughter in everything she was a part of, especially soccer. Next to her family, Kerri loved her closest friend group, the "Six Pack", dearly. They often had game nights, dinners, and pool days. She adored her Dobermans. Recently Kerri and her daughter loved to play bingo at the Claremore VFW. Kerri also had a huge obsession with muscle cars and was very content cruising around town with the windows down, music up loud and a Dr. Pepper in her hand. Above everything else, her family meant the most to her.
She is survived by her husband Brett; her parents Mark and Debra Hawkins; daughter Erika DeLozier; brother, Shawn Hawkins; grandson Brant DeLozier; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and other extended family and friends.
