Kimberly Ann Chafin

June 17, 1961 — October 5, 2012

Kimberly was born June 17, 1961 in Claremore, OK the daughter of James A. and Judy A. (Hefner) Barger and passed away October 5, 2012 at St Francis Health Center in Tulsa following a very complicated illness.
Kimberly was always a very responsible and loving person. When her mom and dad worked in the fields, she lovingly cared for her brothers and took to the cleaning of the house and cooking. She graduated from Alluwe High School in 1979. After graduation she attended Bible College and Secretarial School. She would be considered a modern pioneer woman, as she owned and operated many business's including restaurants, beauty salons and a convenience store. She married Ralph Chafin August 25, 1985 and has partnered with Ralph in C. and C. Well Service and Chafin Land and Cattle Company for the past 19 years. Kimberly's life was about living, she was witty and had a wonderful sense of humor. Her days were filled with her family and adventure. She was a passionate loving wife and a caring grandmother who doted on her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by her brothers as the best sister a brother could ever ask for. All of her extended family was important to her. She was the Proverbs 31 woman, but her devotion to God and family did not stop there. Kimberly also answered God's call to missions, spreading the love of Christ to others across the globe.
Survivors include her husband Ralph of the home in White Oak; son, Burton Lee Chafin, his wife Janet and their children Shelby, Jeremiah, and Briar of Perry, OK; mother and father, James A. and Judy A. Barger of Alluwe; brother, Jimmy Barger of Alluwe, his daughter, Jessica and her children, Bryzell and Brylee; brother, Scott Barger ,his wife Sherri and their children, Tate and Page of Alluwe; honorary sisters, Debbie Melton of Stillwater, OK, Lisa Oliver of Bartlesville, OK and Pam Lawthorn; a host of special cousins and extended family who were all a part of her life. She will be greatly missed by all.
