Kurt Dale Bible, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 54. Born in Nowata, OK, on February 25, 1970, Kurt was the son of Kenneth Bible and Dorothy Couch. He spent his childhood in Chelsea, OK, where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1988.
After high school, Kurt proudly served his country in the US Navy for two years before being honorably discharged. Upon returning home, he worked for Oklahoma Trash Control before attending Tulsa Welding School with his brother Jim in 1996. Following welding school, Kurt joined PSO, where he worked from 1998 to 2012.
In 1996, Kurt married Kendall Land, to this marriage was added their daughter, Alicyn in 1999. In 2009, he married Angella Vernon, and together they shared 15 wonderful years in Chelsea. Kurt was a man of simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf (both on the course and on his Xbox), and welding. He was often found welding on something.
Above all, Kurt cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Kurt will be remembered as a simple man who lived life to the fullest. Kurt will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Kurt is preceded in death by his father, Kenny Bible.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angella; mother, Dorothy Couch; son, Brandon Land, and step-son, Justin Warlick; daughters, Alicyn Bible, Katie Land, and step-daughter, Jacqui Warlick; brothers, Matthew Bible and wife Laurie, Jim Bible and wife Sherry, and Dillon Bible and wife Jessica; and 10 grandchildren.
