Kyle Gene McAlister
April 16, 1979 — December 25, 2015
Kyle Gene McAlister, 36, went to be with Jesus on Christmas Day 2015, after battling an ongoing undiagnosed illness. His Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at First Baptist Church Inola, Oklahoma, under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory.
Kyle was born April 16, 1979, in Tulsa, OK, to Jim McAlister and Gail Parks McAlister, the second of four children. He graduated from Claremore High School in 1997. He attended classes at Rogers State.
Kyle was an IT guru at his job as well as for the entire family. He was a talented artist and loved making people laugh. On May 20, 2012, Kyle married the love of his life and best friend, Julie. He also gained two beautiful children, Jacob and Kylie, whom he loved as his own. In October, 2013, Kyle and Julie welcomed a mini-Kyle when Charles Gene (Charlie) was born and was so thrilled to announce the coming of his third son in May, 2016. Kyle was a loving and devoted dad whose face lit up when the kids walked into the room. Kyle’s biggest joy in life was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Julie McAlister, daughter Kylie, sons Jacob, Charlie and the newest addition coming in May, of Claremore; parents, Gail McAlister of Claremore and Jim McAlister of Vinita; sister Jaime McKay and husband Marcus of Tulsa; brother Patrick McAlister and wife Lyndsey of Plano, Texas; sister Jennifer Knight and husband Zac of Claremore; Grandparents Gene and Virginia Parks of Inola; and Grandfather Lee Stroud of Vinita.
Kyle is also survived by many neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
