Funeral service for Larry Gene Duff will be 2 p.m., Fri., May 31, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Paul Eichhoff officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 6-8 p.m.
Larry passed away Mon., May 27, 2013, at St. John Hospital, Broken Arrow, at the age of 60.
The son of Bill and Evelyn Juanita (Stockstill) Duff was born July 3, 1952, in Tulsa. He attended school in California and Tulsa. On April 27, 1996, he married LaVonda Sword Durham, and they made their home in Inola. Larry worked for many years at Johnson Port 33, and presently had been working for several years as a crane operator for Central Plains Cement Company. He was a member of the Boilermaker Union #421. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, riding motorcycles, traveling, attending gun shows, playing guitar, and watching movies. Larry was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sharon Kay Duff.
He is survived by his wife, LaVonda of the home; children: Zakk Durham and wife, Esther of Tulsa, and Alex Sappington and husband, Jonathan of Claremore; brother, Robert Duff of Tulsa; sisters: Karen Waggoner of Oklahoma City, Barbara Timmerman of Nevada, and Patty Purl of Nevada; and grandchildren: Kaden Sappington, Kallie Durham, Mason Sappington, and Quinton Durham.
