Larry Shawn Green

Service for Larry Shawn Green will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2020 at Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 19 from 1pm-8pm. Larry passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020. He was 48.

Larry was born August 31st, 1971 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Robert and Josephine (Frye) Green, he attended school in Chelsea. He worked for a time as a general laborer with Nowata Printing, and Zebco. His biggest dream was to be a truck driver. On April 13, 2007 he married Christina Sue Ballou, and the couple made their home in Salina.

Health challenges made life not so easy for Larry, but he made the most of it. His favorite hobby was fishing, and he enjoyed the times he was able to go. Church was important to Larry; he attended Tyio Baptist Church, where he was very active. A quiet man, he did enjoy spending time with his family, and loved his nieces and nephews.

Those family members that survive include his wife Christina Green; his mother Josephine Green; his siblings Robert Green, Joseph Green and wife Edith, Brenda Green, Robin Willson, Kimberly Green and husband Preston Seely, and Tammy Heape; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his father Robert Green; his brothers Roger Green and Bobby Green, and his brother-in-law Bill Royer.
