Larry Allen Marts, a hardworking and dedicated Generator Technician at Commercial Power Solutions, has passed away at the age of 50. Born on December 25, 1972, in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, he had a passion for working with his hands and was known for his strong work ethic. Larry was always seen as a gentleman and lived a simple yet fulfilling life.
Larry graduated from Adair Public Schools in the class of 1991. After completing his education, he served his country with honor in the United States Air Force. His time in the military shaped him into a disciplined and committed individual.
Outside of his professional life, Larry had various interests and hobbies. He loved tinkering and working with his hands to create new things. Whenever he had spare time, he could be seen engrossed in repairs or building projects. Additionally, Larry enjoyed spending time at home with his family and friends. He cherished moments with his loved ones and found joy in teaching his grandchildren new things. Larry's ability to find adventure in even the smallest things made every day special.
In terms of entertainment, Larry found pleasure in watching shows like "King of the Hill" and "Seinfeld." These programs brought laughter to his life, creating memories that will be cherished by those who knew him best.
Larry is survived by his parents Russell Marts and Trudy Watkins. He is also survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Linda Marts and their children Justin Marts and Cody Marts, along with daughter-in-law Brandi. Larry's brothers Tom Marts and Michael Marts were not only siblings but also close friends who shared countless memories together
The legacy of Larry Allen Marts lives on through the lives he touched, especially through his three cherished grandchildren: Maylee Marts, Kyndell Marts, and Jenson Marts.
Larry's passing leaves a void among family members, friends, and colleagues, but his spirit will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. He will be remembered for his dedication, honesty, and the love he shared with everyone around him.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Larry's remarkable life and honor the joy he brought to others. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Larry Allen Marts' name to a charity of your choice.
