Leebouris "Lee" Benjamin Karleskint Sr.
March 26, 1928 — September 29, 2020
Lee B. Karleskint, born March 26, 1928, in Miami, Oklahoma to Paul and Lucy Karleskint, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the age of 92. Lee was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Crenthia L. Karleskint and sisters, Rita Hill, Thelma Minich, Florence Lindberg, and brother, Al Karleskint.
After marriage, Lee spent a year in Washington state working in the lumber industry, moving to Tulsa where he worked for Tulsa Machine Works for over 55 years before being forced into retirement when the company sold and was moved to Texas.
Lee is survived by his son, Ben Karleskint, Jr. and daughter, Molly L. Coulter both of Inola, grandchildren, Paul Karleskint, Angela Jenkins and Adam Karleskint, great-grandchildren, Trevor Ogwin, Sydney Jenkins, and Avery Karleskint and sisters Dorothy Prassa, Agnes McFadden, and Theresa Lang and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
A Rosary will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2020 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with a memorial mass, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Claremore, Oklahoma.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or your favorite charity.
