Services celebrating the life of Leonard Leroy “Len” Windle, Jr. will be1:00 p.m., Wednesday January 8, 2014 at Chelsea High School Gymnasium, burial will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held at Chelsea Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 1—8p.m. and family will greet friends from 6—8p.m. Len passed away on Friday January 3, 2014. He was 59. Born December 21, 1954 in Miami, Oklahoma to Leonard Leroy and Carol (Manley) Windle, Len was reared and educated in his birth community. Following his graduation from Miami, he continued his education by attending NEO. During this time Len married his high school sweetheart, Karen Marie Weber. They moved to Stillwater and Len finished his college degree there. His first coaching position was at Velma-Alma, Oklahoma, he was there for a year before accepting a job at Konawa, Oklahoma.
