Lenora was born on December 27, 1932, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Nathaniel Max Hipp and Grace Lenore (Gosnell) Hipp. She attended school in Tulsa before the family moved to the Salina-Spavinaw area.  Later the family would move to Tulsa and finally settle in Verdigris where she and her seven brothers would have their last home together before moving on to their own homes.

The second oldest of eight and the only girl, she was a homemaker with a kind heart and a caring sprit.. She cared for both her parents and husband’s (Amos) parents.  She made the same commitment for many others.   Lenora also provided loving forever homes for many, many dogs and cats.   She especially loved her little Pomeranian, Gidget.

Lenora married William Amos Cooper on June 19, 1950 in Tulsa. Here they raised their two boys - William A. Cooper, Jr., and Terry L. Cooper.  In 1978 they moved to Claremore where they found good neighbors and a great, refreshing country lifestyle.  They celebrated their 69th anniversary (their last together) in 2019 in Claremore reminiscing all the years with family and friends.

Lenora is preceded in death by her parents; son, Terry L. Cooper; grandson, Thomas A. Cooper; and six Brothers, Hugh, Bill, Alan, Art, John, and Leslie.

Cooper Jr. of the home.  In Tulsa, Daughter-in-law Cheryl Cooper; Grandsons Nick Cooper (wife Jackie) and Adam Cooper (wife Amanda); Great- grandchildren AJ, JP, Reagan, and Will Cooper.  In Claremore, her Niece and “adopted daughter” Cindy Hipp; her brother Wesley R. Hipp (wife Jackie), along with many other family members and friends.
