Services for Leon R. Dawson will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday December 9th, 2021 at the Assembly of god Church in Chelsea, Oklahoma.
Leon Dawson,81, died Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at the Oklahoma Heart Institute in Tulsa, Ok.
He was born on July 18th, 1940 in Coodys Bluff, Oklahoma the son of HArvey William Dawson and Thelma G. Odle. He married Mary Ruth Combs on May 22nd, 1959 at the Assembly of god Church in Chelsea, Ok. She passed away on June 10th, 2016 just before their fifty- seventh Anniversary.
Leon Remarried in April 2017 to Jan Dawson. Leon was able to greatly enjoy the last four years of his life traveling and enjoying family time.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Dawson; Son, Charles Dawson and Wife Trina Dawson; daughter Suzanne Coughran; grandson, Christopher Coughran; Step-daughters Cathy Storey and Jami Delozier and husband Kyle; step-grand daughters, Keyara Storey and Savana Huddleston and step-great grand daughters Lily Blu and Aubrey Gomez.
