Lillian Sue Maxwell

Graveside service for Lillian Sue Maxwell will be 3 p.m., Wed., March 7, at Oowala Cemetery with Rev. Richard Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-8 p.m.

Lillian died Thurs., March 1, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospital, Oklahoma City, at the age of 68.

The daughter of Daniel Otto and Hazel Bell (Harrington) Adams was born May 25, 1943, in Atoka. Lillian grew up in the Atoka and Temple areas. She married Jerry Wayne Maxwell; and they lived in California and South Dakota before moving back to Claremore. Lillian worked for Dick's Diner for many years. She enjoyed dancing, music, and going to yard sales.

Lillian is preceded in death by her husband; son, Scott Maxwell; her parents; brother, James Adams; and sister, Wanda Vicker.

She is survived by her children: Daniel Maxwell and Stephen Maxwell both of Claremore, and Gerri Langston of Cyril; brothers: Charlie Adams, and Allen Adams and wife, Jacquie all of Eureka, CA; sisters: Wilma Taylor and husband, Willie of Claremore, and Mary Horath of Caddo; sister-in-law, Doris Adams of Claremore; and several grandchildren.
