Linda June Batton, 67, Miami Oklahoma, passed away April 02, 2013 in the care of her aunt and cousins in Savannah, Missouri.
Linda was born December 13, 1945 in Miami, Ok, to Lloyd & Hazel Batton and she graduated from Miami High School.
Linda spent her career working for Southwestern Bell and retired after 37 years of service. She was the third generation of her family to work with Southwestern Bell following her father and grandmother’s career paths.
Linda retired to become her mother’s caregiver.
Linda loved to spend time at the family home at Grand Lake.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two aunts Dortha Reavis and Ida Lee Batton, an uncle Fred Littleton and cousins Patsy Schmidt and Douglas Reavis.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5th at Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 1:00 on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
