Linda Jo Cramer

A service to honor the life of Linda Jo Cramer will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Linda passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the age of 70.

Linda was born in Claremore to Leroy and Alma Jo Taber. Her early years were spent in Claremore, except for one year her family spent in Albuquerque.  Upon returning to Claremore, she graduated from Claremore High School in 1971.  She attended cosmetology school and then worked as a hair dresser.  Linda later spent a few years in Houston, Texas then returned to Claremore.  Linda met Kenne Cramer from Nashville, TN on a trip he made to Tulsa. Linda later moved to Nashville and they married in 1996 as Kenny pursued his successful career in music there. It was during this time that Linda established her own travel agency, Music City Travel. In 2000 Linda returned to Claremore, and soon after began her career with AT&T where she worked for many years, earning several awards and promotions. Linda enjoyed music, keeping in touch with friends and family, and spending time at Grand Lake.  Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death her parents Leroy Taber and Alma Taber-Marlin and step-father Walter Marlin. She is survived by her brother, Loyd Taber and his wife Debi of Claremore, her sister, Connie Liggans of Broken Arrow, and her nephew, Lonnie Taber, along with his wife Kristen and their children, Molly and Layla who reside in Honolulu, Hawaii where they are currently stationed.
