Linda Ray Davis

Graveside service for Linda Ray Davis will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Winganon Cemetery. Linda passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was 73.

Born on Christmas Eve, 1943 in Nowata, Oklahoma to L.D. and Alice (Gawley) Pope, Linda graduated high school in Alluwe. On May 27, 1961, she married Freddie Arthur Davis, and together they raised five children.

Linda was a wonderful cook, and she enjoyed making her family's favorite dishes, one of which was her Christmas ham. Holidays were her most favorite time of the year, and she loved decorating her home for the season. Linda’s hobbies included ceramics, woodworking, and oil painting.

This loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend will be missed by all who knew her. Those family members that survive include her husband Freddie; her children Esty Clark of Oklahoma City, Todd Davis and wife Debbie of Ft. Worth, Texas, James Davis and Kim Stewart, both of Oklahoma City, and Freddie Davis, Jr. and wife Tami of Inola; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Linda was also survived by 6 siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.
