Memorial service for Linda Louise Lancaster will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 24th, at The Sanctuary Christian Worship Center, Chelsea, with Pastors Garry and Reba Wilson officiating. Dinner will follow at the 513.
Linda died Mon., March 19, 2012, at her home at the age of 51.
The daughter of Lee Roy and Bessie Marie (Fleetwood) Chambers was born Feb. 27, 1961, in Ponca City, where she was a lifetime resident. Linda worked at Super Bowl Aquarium and Pet Shop and Frank's Grooming. She worked as a dietary aide at Ponca City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the last couple of years. Linda was an animal lover. She was always willing to care for animals, and family and friends in their time of need. When her daughter, Ressie, was a child Linda served as a Bluebird leader for two years. She was also active with her son, Lester's, Cub Scout troop.
Linda was preceded in death by her companion of five years, Chuck Dummer; her parents; grandsons: Nolan Bryant and Baby Lancaster; and sister-in-law, Lisa Chambers.
She is survived by her daughter, Ressie Bryant and husband, Adrian of Skiatook; son, Lester Lancaster of Monkey Island; brother, Dennis Chambers and fiance, Dorinda Faull of Chelsea; sister, Danna McMath and companion, Mike King of Tulsa; grandchildren: Ethan Fry of Ponca City, and Lantanna and Kasen Bryant of Skiatook.
