Visitation for Linda Mae Riley-Shrum will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. at the Chelsea Funeral Home.
The daughter of Raymond Riley and Martha Hendrix Riley was born September 27th, 1961 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was a life long Rogers County resident. Living mostly between Claremore and Chelsea. As she became older her focus was on raising her family. She did however work as a nurse's aide for several years, and for Zebco, Trece, and Inola Casting. In her spare time she enjoyed just about anything outdoors. Fishing and camping were her favorites. She also enjoyed watching football, mostly the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Linda also had a knack for drawing. She created many wonderful pieces, mostly in the Native American style.
Linda had the gift of making everyone feel welcome. She was known for treating everyone as if they were lifelong friends. She had the most contagious smile. She will always be remembered for being quick witted and her sense of humor. She was a very loving and supportive mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond, and Martha Riley; daughter, Rae Lynn Bailey, and siblings, Johnny Riley, Mary Karr, Barbara Marlin, and Holly Schumacher.
Survivors include her sons, John Bailey and wife Tammy, and Brandon Shrum and wife Berdena; grandchildren, Mariah, Noah, Jason, and Jacob, and siblings Billy Riley and wife Shelly, and Rosie Dewitt.
