Linda Wiley

Funeral service for Linda Marie Wiley will be 12 p.m., Sat., April 2, at First Baptist Church of Coweta with Pastor David Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Oakhaven Memorial Gardens, Claremore, under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Claremore. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Fri. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 6-8 p.m.

Linda passed away Mon., March 28, 2016, at her home at the age of 93.

The daughter of John Frederick Louis Konrad, Jr. and Ida Louise (Mayer) Konrad was born July 10, 1922, in Tripp, SD. Linda graduated from Highmore High School in Highmore, SD, and continued her education at St. Paul Bible Institute. On Dec. 24, 1947, Linda married Neal Eldon Wiley in Luverne, MN. They made their home in Iowa and South Dakota before moving to Claremore in 1976. Linda worked as a bookkeeper for several hotels and motels for many years. After her husband passed away, Linda was blessed to work as a companion caregiver for several families. Linda cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of Verdigris United Methodist Church when she was able, and taught the Women's Sunday School class.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Neal; son, Ward Wiley; her parents; and siblings: Ray Konrad, Harvey Konrad, Ruth Konrad Brooks, and Howard Konrad.

She is survived by her children: Greg Wiley and wife, Robin of Coweta, and Andrea Rose and husband, Lloyd of Claremore; grandchildren: Sara Houchin and husband, Lee, Amanda Blendon and husband, Brian, Brandon Jones, Anthony Jones and wife, Jean, Serena Searcy and husband, Derek, Gregory Jones, Daniel Jones, and Destiny Sanchez and husband, Frankie; and great-grandchildren: Cole Houchin, Christin and Sydnee Houchin, Emma, Grace, and Caleb Blenden, Joseph and Rosie Perez, Eric, Guinevere, and Garrett Jones, Noah, Adriana, and Parker Searcy, and Kane and Lola Sanchez.
