Lisa Diane (Arnold) Smith, 65, a resident of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Monday, June 5th, 2023. Lisa was born on May 23, 1958, in Duncan, Stevens County, Oklahoma, to Jack Winston and Irene (Brinkerhoff) Arnold. In 1979, Lisa had her daughter, Amanda. She met her sweetheart, David J. Smith, in 1984 and they were married on February 14, 1985. They combined their families adding Leslie and Samantha.
Lisa worked at Utica Park Clinic for Dr. Adelson until the early 90’s when she started working at the Post Office. She worked there over 20 years until she was not able to work anymore. She loved to travel and took many road trips around the country with her sweetheart. Lisa went on to travel to England and Europe with her sister, Rhonda. Lisa loved to find a good bargain, especially antiques in a flea market or craft show. Lisa also loved spending time with her family and friends, putting together puzzles, spending time working in her garden and looking at her beautiful flowers (she knew all of their names), working as a Master Gardener in the Claremore Teaching Garden and volunteering at Wild Heart Ranch. Above all else, her greatest pleasure in life was being "Nana" to her grandkids.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Irene Arnold, sister, Vicki Clark, brother-in-law, Roy Webster and niece, Jenny Webster.
Those left to share Lisa’s memory are her husband, David Smith, of the home, daughters Amanda Janson of Tulsa, Leslie Smith Taylor of Tulsa, Samantha Smith Peck of Wagoner, son Sean Schoolcraft of Moore, OK, her siblings, Rhonda Damron of Spavinaw, David M. Arnold of Fort Walton Beach, FL, grandchildren Anthony, Kaylen, Cody, Ben, Blake, Hudson and Harrison, with many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
