Memorial service for Lloyd Reudy will be 3 p.m., Fri., Aug. 24, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Michael Clark officiating.
Lloyd died Tues., Aug. 21, 2012, at Wood Manor at the age of 80.
The son of Lloyd Martin and Margaret (Carman) Reudy was born Aug. 4, 1932, in Bartlesville. Lloyd graduated from Bartlesville High School in 1950. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army. On Feb. 19, 1976, Lloyd married Sandra Lorraine Simpson in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They made their home in Denver, CO, and Calgary, Alberta, Canada before moving to Claremore in 1993. In 1998, Lloyd retired from Centrilift where he was a mechanical engineer. After his retirement he worked for Melton Sales and Green Country Submersible Pumps. Lloyd's hobbies included aviation, flying airplanes, reading, history, and football. He celebrated his 50th year as a member of the Mason's on Aug. 18, 2009. He was a member of the Bartlesville Lodge No. 284, A.F. & A.M.
Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra Reudy; father-in-law, Gordon Simpson; and mother-in-law, Norma Simpson.
He is survived by his daughters: Katherine Reudy, and Erin Williams and husband, Jeff all of Claremore; sister, Jean Kater and husband, Jan of Houston, TX; and brother-in-law, Ron Simpson of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
