Service for Lois Faught will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, July 17, from 2pm-6pm, family will be there to greet friends during this time. Lois passed away with her family by her side on Monday, July 11, 2022 just 4 days after her 91st birthday.

Lois A Faught was born July 7, 1931 in the Dog Creek Hills of Rogers County, to Buster and Nellie (Gardner) Tanner. She attended Claremore and Tiawah Schools. It was at Tiawah School that she met and later married the love of her life, Aubrey Faught, on November 8, 1947. They made their home in Rogers County, where they raised their two sons.

Lois spent her time enjoying being a wife and mom, with many other activities. She loved watching birds and especially loved humming birds. She could really crochet and was so talented making beautiful afghans. Singing was something she enjoyed and she had a beautiful voice and sang at nursing homes with her siblings for many years. She was a member of the Oklahoma Eastern Stars, the Oologah Chapter. She has served the Lord since 1951, when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed people and spending time with her family and friends.

Those family members that survive include her son Garry Faught of Broken Arrow; her grandchildren Garry, Darren, and Jeremy Faught of Tulsa and Wade and Amy Faught of Claremore; Steve Faught of Clear Lake, Iowa and Chrissy Molencamp and husband Nick of Crystal Lake, Iowa; great grandchildren Steven, Bailee Mae, Carsyn, Jett Aubrey, Ethan, Jacob, Tristan, Lillie, Coco, Elijah, Jordon, Rachael, and Caleb; her brother Joe Tanner, sister Treba Hendrix and husband Harvey of Claremore, sister Sue Falling of San Antonio, TX, brother David Tanner and wife Peggy of Tulsa, sister-in-law Jackie Tanner of Grove and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Nellie Tanner, her husband Aubrey Faught, her son Steve Faught, brothers Garth Tanner, Ray Tanner, and Jack Tanner and wife Rose, sister Anna Corley and husband Arlo, and sister-in-law Wahnee Tanner, and brother-in-law Bob Falling, brother and sister-in-law Leo Faught and wife Jo, Cleon Faught and wife Virginia, sister and brother-in-law Wanda Moore and husband Bob, Joan Anderson and husband Vern, Wilma McHome and husband Don and her daughter-in-law Carol Faught.
