Graveside service for Lottie Mae Leach will be 2 p.m., Fri., March 12, at Washington Cemetery with Rev. Richard Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Fri. 9 a.m.-noon.
Lottie died Tues., March 9, 2010, at Craig General Hospital at the age of 85.
The daughter of LaFedrick and Edna M. (Wiley) Shearrer was born July 14, 1924, in Wagoner. On Sept. 25, 1940, Lottie married Fredrick Leach. Lottie worked several times in Oregon picking fruits; and in 1972, they settled in Rogers County. Lottie worked at the Luggage Factory in Chelsea, and enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers. She was an excellent cook and seamstress.
Lottie is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and children: Linda L. Leach, Fred D. Leach, and Karren Shelton.
She is survived by children: Charles A. Leach of Tulsa, Jerry W. Leach of Foyil, Berle C. Leach and wife, Sharron K. of Tulsa, Merle L. Leach of Foyil, Marion Leach of Chelsea, Randy Leach and wife, Tina of San Antonio, TX, Ronnie Leach and wife, Karren of Waterloo, WI, Dennis L. Leach of Rogers, AR, Patsy L. Brooks of Chelsea, Carolyn Taylor and husband, Gene of Peggs, Joyce A. Vinton and husband, Tim of Oregon, Glenna Hoffman and husband, John of Adair, Barbara Thompson and husband, Tom of Foyil, and Trudy Gorey and husband, David of Claremore; brothers: Frank and Leon Shearrer; Sisters: Audrey and Sue; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
