Funeral service for Louise Ward will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Gregory Baptist Church. Pastor Denny Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow at Sweeten Cemetery under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wed. 1-6 p.m.

Louis passed away October 22, 2012 in Tulsa at the age of 75.

The daughter of Preston and Altha Spurgon Camren was born October 8, 1937 in Agra, Oklahoma. She was raised there, and attended Agra schools. After school her working career began. It was while working at a local restaurant in Chandler that she met Claude Ward. They were married December 25, 1964. For a short while they lived in Chandler before moving to Tulsa. There she attended beauty college, and opened her own beauty shop. In 1978 they moved to Inola. After the move most of her working career was at a Chrysler dealership; as a shipping and receiving clerk. In her spare time she loved to fish, and garden. She also was a member of Gregory Baptist Church, where she loved to help with vacation bible school.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Preston, and Altha; brother, Donald Camren and grandson, Gary Evans Jr.

Survivors include her husband Claude of the home; son, Gary Evans and wife Patricia of Jenks; son, Steve Ward and wife Shirley of Cushing; grandchildren, Amanda Evans, and Jerod Ward; great-granddaughter, Aralysa Evans and siblings, Gene Camren, O.P. Camren, Bobby Camren, Lois Pirkle, Marietta Watkins, Helen Brown, and Jimmy Camren.
