Luella Mae Rathfon

Funeral service for Luella Mae Rathfon will be 11 a.m., Thurs., at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel in Claremore. Burial will follow at Chelsea Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wed. 1-8 p.m. Luella died Sun., Dec. 5, 2010, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 82. The daughter of Ernest "Hoover" and Josie (Heape) Reavis was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Chelsea. She married Leroy Rathfon and they made their home in Tulsa. Luella was a member of Berean Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, fishing, reading the Bible, and going to garage sales. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; parents: Hoover and Josie Reavis; sons: Larry Leroy Rathfon and Terry Lee Rathfon; grandson, Gregory Wayne Elam, sister, Shirley Reavis; and brothers: Cecil Reavis and Walter "Bub" Reavis.
