Lynda Ruth Hadley

Services for Lynda Ruth Hadley will be 2:00p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Oologah Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery in Claremore, under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Lynda passed away at her home on Saturday, May 31, 2014. She was 71.
Born January 25, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Olin B. and Melba (Hall) Quick, Lynda was reared and educated in her birth community, graduating from East Central High School with the class of 1961. During Lynda’s grade school years she became friends with a boy named James Hadley. The two quickly became boyfriend-girlfriend and this lasted until Lynda’s family moved across town. After she graduated from high school, James called her up for a date and the rest is history. Lynda married James on April 20, 1962 and this last April they celebrated 52 years together. They have made their home in Tulsa, Inola, and Catoosa; and for the last fifteen years the Tacora Hills area of Claremore. Lynda work as a realtor for Century 21 Group under the leadership of Johnny Leonard for many years. She was very successful at her profession and won many awards throughout her career.
Lynda will be missed by all who knew her; those family members that survive include her husband James of their home; her son Stephen Wayne Hadley and wife Bobbie of Claremore; her grandsons Spencer Hadley and Tyler Colclasure also of Claremore; her brother Gary Allen Quick and wife Kathy of New Mexico. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents.
