Funeral service for Claremore resident, Lynn Sowards will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022, at Chelsea Funeral Home Chapel. Lynn passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the age of 65.
The son of Henry and Frieda (Blehm) Sowards was born in Everett, Washington, on February 19, 1957. There he spent his childhood, and attended school.. After finishing school he began working as a truck driver. Eventually, Lynn moved to Oklahoma. There he would meet Deborah Brookshier. They would marry on July 12, 2008. The couple was currently living in Claremore.
In his spare time Lynn enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dogs.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Dennis Bowling.
He is survived by his wife Deborah, mother-in-law, Betty Bowling, son Chris and Jacquie, and grandchildren Keely and Aidan.
