Funeral service for Mallori Elizabeth Mack will be 10 a.m., Wed., Dec. 29, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Nathan Faught officiating. Burial will be held in Lone Tree Cemetery, Stuggart, AR. Services are under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 6-8 p.m.
Mallori went home on Christmas Day, 2010, at the age of 21. She fought a short battle with Multiple Sclerosis that had taken her over in March.
The daughter of Andrew Mack and April McGhee was born Dec. 5, 1989, in Stuttgart, AR. While attending Claremore High School, Mallori was active in the Drama Club and played clarinet in the band. She graduated in May 2008, and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, until her illness interrupted her studies. She was dearly loved by her many family members and friends. She was Baptist and attended Lifeway Church in Claremore.
Mallori was preceded in death by her uncle, David Mack, aunt, Kimberly Mack, and great-grandfather, Thomas Damon all of Stuttgart; her aunt, Edna Bennett, and her great-grandmother, Bertie Mae McGhee both of DeWitt, AR; and her great-grandparents, Hugh and Norma Lee Vance both of Brinkley, AR.
She is survived by her mom, April McGhee of Claremore; her dad and stepmom, Andrew and Brooke Mack of Pine Bluff, AR; brothers: Drew and Colby Mack and Blaine Funderburg; sisters: Kelsi and Preslee Claire Mack; great-grandmother, Ellen Lavell Damon of Stuttgart; maternal grandparents: Donna (Pookie) McGhee of Claremore, and Butch McGhee of DeWitt; paternal grandparents: Christine Mack of Stuttgart and Joseph and Bonnie Mack of Humphrey, AR; aunts and uncles: Aaron and Shannon McGhee of Claremore, Christy Weems, Keith and Kerri Mack, and Ricky and Cynthia Mack all of Stuttgart; and her many cousins, Caitlyn, Ashlee, Madison, Logan, Sidney, Devin, Abigail Rose, Meghan, Patrick, Katelyn Emma, and Orrin.
