Maree Gann

Funeral service for Maree Gann will be 10 a.m., Tues., April 26, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Janelle Brammer officiating. Burial will follow at Talihina Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Mon. 5-7 p.m.
Maree died Fri., April 22, 2011, at the Tulsa Jewish Health Center.
The daughter of James Hiram and Carrie Etta (Taylor) Gann was born in Talihina. Maree graduated from Talihina High School in 1935. She received her Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State A&M, and Master's degree from O.U. Maree taught school for 44 years at Clayton, Claremore, and Ponca City. After retiring, she resided in Tulsa. Maree was a member of Boston Avenue Methodist Church.
Maree was preceded in death by her parents; and 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
