Marilyn Jewel Barbee passed away on February 17th, 2022. She was 82 years old. Marilyn was born on January 14, 1940 in Troy, Ohio to Harold and Paulina Ash. She attended and graduated from Troy High School in the class of 1958. She met Jack, her husband, in Augusta, Georgia in 1974. The couple married on September 2, 1983 in Pasadena, Texas, the two had many wonderful years together. Marilyn was a bookkeeper for many different companies throughout her life. She retired from Tulsa Airport and helped Jack with his books on his Mechanic shop.
Some of the hobbies she adored were knitting, reading, riding motorcycles with Jack and cruising around in her 2020 Mustang. She also loved to travel in their RV across the U.S. One of her favorite destinations was Lake Tahoe. Above everything else she loved, she loved spending time with her family and was always in on a good laugh. Marilyn was a kind and loving person and will be missed dearly by her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her daughters Elizabeth Lykes and Paula Walters; Brother Fred Ash, Sisters Maxine Pendelton, and Catherine Baker.
She is survived by her husband Jack Barbee; two daughters Susan (Mark) Pendelton , and Janet Bolois; Stepsons, Richard Barbee, Jerry Barbee, Jack Barbee Jr., and Randy (Barbara) Barbee; grand children Jamie Owens, Emily Haire, Bejamin Bradley, Elena Sybert, Daniel Kennedy, Megan-Renee Pendleton, Andrew Bolois and 6 great grandchildren.
