Marilyn spent her early years moving around with her family before they settled in Inola, OK, where her father owned a lumber mill and farm. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she dedicated herself to serving the Lord. Her unwavering belief in God was a guiding light for her family and friends.
Later in life, Marilyn found love with Larry Trude. Their romance began when Larry, sent her a dozen roses and invited her to dinner. They quickly became inseparable and soon married, blending their families. Despite the challenges that can come with merging families, Marilyn and Larry loved all their children equally.
