Graveside service for Marjorie Bowling Case will be 2 p.m., Thurs., April 1, at Buckner Cemetery, Buckner, MO.
Marjorie died Thurs., March 25, 2010, at her daughter’s home at the age of 66.
The daughter of Chester A. Bowling, Jr. and Mabel Orene (Wilkerson) Bowling was born Jan. 4, 1944, in Independence, MO. Marjorie traveled most of her younger years with her father and family with the Air Force. She traveled to Germany, Belgium, and many states in the U.S.A. She graduated from high school in Lakenheath, England. Marjorie worked as a PBX switchboard operator, cashier, and in Consumer Affairs, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed spending her time raising her 3 children whom she lived for. She enjoyed swimming, singing, tennis, and sewing.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Charley and Ella Wilkerson.
She is survived by her children: Jeanine Eaton of Inola, Truman Dale Case, Jr. of Claremore, Dawn Strader of Claremore, Carol Cozart of Red Oak, TX, and Ronnie Dale Case of Arlington, Texas; siblings: Gary Bowling of Tulsa, Chester A. Bowling, III of Fairgrove, MO, Michele J. Bowling of Arlington, VA, and Marci Ann Bowling of Springfield, MO; grandchildren: Rebecca Strader of Claremore, Elizabeth Eaton of Inola, John Casey Strader of Claremore, Bill Eaton of Tulsa, Curtis Wayne Cozart, Cristopher Ashley Cozart, and Christina Sheri Briles; and great-grandchildren: Victoria Cozart, Medow Kimberly Briles, Kingston Cozart, Shelby Lynn Cozart, Preston Conner Cozart, Garrett Lary Cozart, and Ashton Cruz Cozart.
