Mark Allen Illingsworth

Graveside service for Mark Allen Illingsworth will be 10:00a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Chelsea Cemetery. Friends may visit at MMS-Payne Funeral Home in Claremore on Monday, January 9, from 1pm--8pm. Mark passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his home in Tulsa.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 8, 1958 to Earl Harvey and Betty Lois(Purdom) Illingsworth, Mark was reared and educated in his birth community with the exception of 4 years in Wagoner. He graduated from Rogers High School and worked for his father in the construction business. Mark also worked for Tulsa Fruit Company for many years.

Mark's hobbies included watching NASCAR and building model cars. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also kept in touch with his family by calling them each day making sure that everyone was ok.

Those family members that survive include his mother Betty Illingsworth, of Tulsa; his brother Mike Illingsworth and wife Julie of Sapulpa and his sister Kathy Bowers and husband Donald also of Tulsa; his niece Ashley Nicole Illingsworth of Sapulpa; his nephews Eric Parson and wife Rebecca of Tulsa and Brandon Wayne Illingsworth also of Sapulpa and numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father Earl.
