Martha Sue Fox

Martha Sue Fox passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. She was 78.

Born April 17, 1944 in Ketchum, Oklahoma to John and Martha (Dixon) Baldridge, Martha graduated from Salina High School with the class of 1962. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Northern State University, later she went back and got her Master's. While teaching in Gallup, New Mexico, Martha met fellow teacher and future husband, Donald Fox. They lived and taught in Gallup until moving to Claremore in 1978 to be closer to family. Both finished their teaching careers in Claremore. She retired in 1996.

Martha was a very independent and private person who enjoyed her family and close friends. To them she was "Mart". Her favorite pastime was being on the golf course. She was involved with Heritage Hills Women Golf Association and played as often as she could.

Surviving members of her family are brothers John Baldridge and wife Janice, Bill Baldridge, Bob Baldridge and wife Judy, and James Baldridge and wife Nancy; and longtime friend Georgia McFarlan. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law Linda Baldridge.
