Martha Darline Maggard

Martha Darline Maggard passed away on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, at the age of 83.

The daughter of Oscar and Mary (Hamilton) McGill was born October 16, 1940 in Alluwe, Oklahoma. There she would later attend Alluwe schools, where she graduated as the valedictorian. She would late meet and marry Frank "Joke" Maggard. Martha would remain in the Chelsea for her entire life. Her working career included over 25 years at the bank of Commerce, and numerous years at the Nowata nursing home.

In her spare time she enjoyed, reading, working puzzle books, fishing and traveling with her husband to many of his work sites around the country. She will be remembered as a kind and loving women, who will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary McGill; sisters Lucille and Betty; granddaughter, Nikki Aaron.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Maggard and wife Shelly and Audy Maggard; grandchildren, Mitchell Maggard and Mallory Morrow; brothers, Robert and Jerry McGill; sisters Pauline, Margaret, sister-in-law, Cookie, and numerous other extended family.
