Martha Jane McLain

Martha Jane McLain (Ross) passed away on November 14th, 2021 in Claremore, Oklahoma she was 75 years old. Martha was born to Leonard and Mary Ross on July 1st, 1946 in Inola, Oklahoma. During her Childhood years she attended Tiawah and Chilocco Indian school. She worked as a dispatcher for her brothers trucking business, and was owner of Marty's Supper Club. Her favorite job however, was being a homemaker and mother.
Martha was best known for her cooking, especially her desserts, she could cook a fantastic peach cobbler and Red Velvet cake. She loved to get her family together to visit and cook for everyone. She was a gentle, nurturing and funny person. She had a way of making you feel special in her presence.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Mary Ross; Siblings Jennette Ross, Carol McFarlin (Ross), Donald Ross, and Lloyd Ross.
She is survived by her siblings Leonard Jr. Ross, Vicky Mason (Ross), Andrew Ross, and children, Kelly McLain and partner Martin Potts, Stefanie McLain, Chris McLain, Jeff McLain, and Tim McLain; 3 grandchildren and multiple nieces nephews and other extended family members.
