Graveside services for Mary Jo Glidden will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 28 from 1pm--8pm. Mary passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was 84.

Born January 3, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Herbert Harold and Marjorie (Kelley) Hudson, she was educated in Oklahoma City Schools. Mary worked as a clerk and cook for Eastern State Hospital; she was also a manager and owner of a day care center. Her ability with numbers and good business skills served her well throughout her life.

Mary enjoyed playing the piano; she also volunteered her time as a tutor for the Literacy Council. She was also very civic minded and was a member of the D.A.R. and the Homemakers Community Education. Mary was involved with her church and sang in the choir.

Those family members that survive include her children Steven Bradford Hurst and wife Martha of Cushing, Diana Sue Ansley and husband Bill of Tulsa and Cathleen Garrett and husband Dallas of Bacliff, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; her sisters, Nancy Anne Whetstone and Sue Lynn Hudson, both of Oklahoma City. She was preceded by her parents, her husband Ramon Luis Glidden, and two grandchildren.
