Mary Ann Moore

Funeral service for Mary Ann Moore will be 1 p.m., Wed., March 14, at the Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Rev. Claud Strong officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 3-5 p.m.

Mary died Sat., March 10, 2012, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, at the age of 82.

The daughter of John and Anna (Heinz) Bell was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Claremore to a pioneer Claremore family. Mary graduated from Claremore High School in 1947. On Oct. 15, 1956, she married Joe Moore. The owned and operated Bell's Confectionary, Belvidere Apartments, Belvidere Mansion, and the Sugar Bowl Snack Shop. Mary was a member of the Elk's Lodge, and volunteered with Claremore Regional Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jack and Ferris Bell; sisters: Betty Wagstaff and Florence Robertson; and grandson, Bradley Allen Gunnells.

She is survived by her husband, Joe of the home; daughters: Kim Gunnells and husband, David, and Lisa Jo Moore all of Claremore; brother, Wayne Bell of San Diego, CA; grandchildren: Ashley and Dustin Gunnells of Tulsa, and Jessica Gunnells of Claremore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
