Mary Rosebery-Foxworth

Memorial service for Mary Helen Rosebery-Foxworth will be 2:00p.m., Friday, January 13, 2021, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel.  Mary passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022.  She was 72.

Born January 14, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James and Virginia VanVelzer, Mary attended schools in Claremore, graduating with the class of 1968.  Following high school, she went to Northwestern University and eventually obtained her master's degree in Education.  Mary worked at several different schools throughout her career, Liberty Mounds, Bartlesville Vo Tech and Tulsa Tech, to name a few.  

Mary enjoyed being out and doing things.  She loved golf and tennis and even coach when she was younger.  The most important activity was spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Those family members that survive include her husband, John Foxworth; children Becky Dunn, John Foxworth, Jr., Stephanie Foxworth and Paul Malone, and Rachel Foxworth; grandchildren Brittney Dunn, Caleb Dunn, Callie Dunn, Allissa Dunn, Colt Dunn, Katie Ellington, Johnnie Foxworth, Savannah Foxworth, and Noah Foxworth; great granddaughter Jemma; brother Jim VanVelzer.  Mary was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Neal Dunn.
