Mathew Ryan Franklin

Mathew Franklin passed away on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, at the age of 18.

On January 15th, 2006, a child was born. This was no ordinary day, as Tulsa Hospital was blessed with a child who could bring a smile to all he would cross paths with. Mathew Ryan Franklin spent most of his life in Claremore with his loving family. His mother, Amanda Franklin, and later his father, Kyle Coble, pushed him to become a kind young man who left an everlasting impression on our lives. With his older sister, Brittany, and little brother, Kylar, their little home became quite rowdy but bared ample opportunity for Matt to live his life. 

Being raised here in Claremore, Matt displayed what it meant to be a zebra, not only in spirit but through his prowess and dedication to sports as well. Matt found himself engaging in physical sports like football but later wrestling, which would become a large part of his life. Going on trips with his loving father to these wrestling competitions allowed him to make memories that both he and his father would never forget, and his mother was proud of him every step of the way. To his friends, he was a goofball who cared deeply for those around him. Sharing a part of his life with others and having them do the same solidified his reputation as a person who cared not about who you were nor where you came from, seeing all those around them as equals worth his time. To his family, there was never a better son, brother, or even nephew that they could ask for. 

He is survived by his parents, Amanda Franklin, and Kyle Coble; his Siblings, Brittany Franklin, and Kylar Coble; along with his loving family filled with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins who cared deeply for him.
